2 days of captivating music in a new location... the Yūgen factory at the Ferdinand Lousbergkaai number 21 Ghent

Getting lost in tiny (sound) spaces: Peter Vandenberghe (piano) and Bart Maris enthusiastically dive into an intimate adventure, after 25 years working together in various larger formations (including X-Legged Sally and FES). The duo is looking for more direct musical dialogues in constantly changing sound landscapes with the help of compositions by Maris, arrangements by Vandenberghe and free improvised pieces. The basic idea is a strict acoustic setting, with a focus on dynamics and density - color - texture, parameters that determine their music as much as tonality - rhythm.

Grazzhoppa, also known as Wim Verbrugghe, Mr. Cheebahawkes, Mr. Mingpanel of Three Insekt began his musical career in 1985. After years of practice, DJ Grazzhoppa became DMC European Champion in 1991 and third prize at the International Turntablist Federation World Championship in 1998. He founded a DJ Bigband, an orchestra consisting of 12 dexterous scratching DJs and in all his collaborations he searches for the essence, always with that hint of hip hop.
