Pat Thomas (geboren 27 juli 1960) is een jazzpianist uit Oxford, Engeland. studeerde klassieke piano vanaf zijn achtste en begon jazz te spelen vanaf zijn zestiende. Sindsdien heeft hij een volkomen unieke stijl ontwikkeld - improvisatie, jazz en nieuwe muziek omarmend. Hij speelde met Derek Bailey in Company Week (1990/91) en in het trio AND (met Noble) – met Tony Oxley’s Quartet en Celebration Orchestra en in Duo met Lol Coxhill.

Unlike other pianists whose virtuosity seems to be racing ahead of their thought processes Thomas always seems supremely in command of his gift, and his playing, no matter how free and ready to tangle with abstraction, always carries a charge of authoritative exactitude."
