eve beuvens tri(w)o(rds)
   poetry for contemporary jazz

Eve Beuvens has composed for various line-ups, from solo to septet. This time she found her inspiration mainly in poems from the beginning of the 20th century. Attracted by their humor and dreamy character, she has used them as the basis of compositions. Bringing those pieces to life required not only a voice but also a flexible, colorful and extraordinary cast. She immediately ended up with Lynn Cassiers and Lennart Heyndels. Together they create inspiring, heartwarming and sometimes bittersweet atmospheres.

The trio includes three musicians who have long left their mark on the Belgian and European jazz scene: Lynn with her collaborations with, among others, Jozef Dumoulin, Rudy Trouvé, Eric Thielemans, Octurn, The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Mäâk ..., Lennart as bassist, synthesist and composer, active in very diverse contexts, from top classical jazz ensembles such as the Ben Sluijs Quartet to playful pop in Hi Hawaii and Eve with her fresh, intelligent and contemporary jazz and sense for refined melody, currently focused on her piano solo.
