Guinea born, living in Paris for the last 17 years, Djeli aka the "Menilmontant griot" was quickly discovered. From this point onwards he starts his exceptional journey filled with musical experiences in which he manages to impose his compelling voice and to reveal his skills as a composer. Influenced by many cultures he creates a remarkable universe jam-packed with tribal as well as modern sonorities. His ecclectic style mixes pop music's nuances, Moorish vibes with electro tinges. Le bassiste finlandais, Jouni Isoherranen, n'est jamais venu en Afrique. Tamanrasset est la première halte de ce musicien aux cheveux longs qui a vécu au Mexique. Avec des mots simples, il exprime sa joie d'être dans le Sud algérien. Il accompagne le chanteur et joueur de kora guinéen.
