Peter Jacquemyn is een veelzijdig kunstenaar, beeldhouwt, maakt sculpturen, schetsen en tekeningen en is ook op muzikaal vlak erg actief. Met ongebreidelde energie worstelt hij liefdevol met zijn contrabas. Een gevecht waarin alle middelen geoorloofd zijn: strijkstokken, gedeukte drankblikjes, plastic zakjes, gekreukt papier, dempers, koperblazers, herspannen snaren, ...
De Britse saxofonist Evan Parker mag gerust een icoon genoemd worden in de Europese free en impro-beweging. In zijn rijk gevulde carrière speelde hij samen met het kruim van deze scene: Peter Brötzmann, Barry Guy, Barre Phillips, Alexander Von Schlippenbach...
Dit unieke duo speelde al enkele jaren geleden op het festival Jazz Brugge, waarvan muziek nu wordt uitgebracht op el NEGOCITO Records en krijgt nu een passend vervolg. Ongetwijfeld ook dit keer muzikaal vuurwerk gegarandeerd.

This unique duo performed several years ago at Jazz Brugge. The music performed at that festival will now be released on the el NEGOCITO Records label and brings a perfect opportunity for another encounter of these two improvisors. No doubt more musical fireworks is guaranteed.
