Suura, het Gentse trio gevormd door Nicolas Van Belle, brengt originele stukken, een combinatie van jazz, folkgitaar alsook improvisatie en gestreken melodieën. De muziek kan het best worden omschreven als dromerige, vloeiende, atmosferische landschappen in combinatie met lyriek met een focus op subtiele details. Elk landschap ontvouwt een onderliggende gedachte en emotie waarin ze de toeschouwer willen betrekken. De jonge snaken van Suura brengen een crossover tussen jazz, improvisatie en akoestische folk.

Suura, the Ghent based trio formed by Nicolas Van Belle, brings original pieces, a combination of jazz, folk guitar as well as improvisation and flued melodies. The music can best be described as dreamy, flowing, atmospheric landscapes in combination with lyricism with a focus on subtle sound details. Every landscape unfolds an underlying thought and emotion in which they want to involve the listener. The fresh musicians of Suura bring a crossover between jazz, improvisation and acoustic folk.
