Mauro Pawlowski is de zanger gitarist van Pools/Italiaanse afkomst die we allemaal kennen van Evil Superstars (Humo's Rockrally 1994 winnaar), Kiss My Jazz, dEUS, Gruppo di Pawlowski, Hitsville Drunks en als solo-artiest of van één van zijn andere (ruwe schatting: een 50-tal) projecten. Hij maakt geen onderscheid tussen het obscure en het populaire en is een veelgevraagd en graag gezien muzikant die zijn medewerking verleent aan talloze zijprojecten en gastoptredens bij bevriende muzikanten.

De Italiaanse jazzdrummer Giovanni Barcella woont sinds geruime tijd in België en is er een vaak geziene speler op de Gentse scene.
In België beweegt hij zich binnen verschillende domeinen van de muzikale expressie, van mainstream tot impro, en speelt hij regelmatig met muzikanten als Bart Maris, Jeroen van Herzele, Filip Wouters, Charles Gayle, Erik Vermeulen, ... Hij maakt deel uit van het artiestencollectief Lucinda Ra, een multidisciplinair collectief dat constructief kritische maatschappelijke vragen stelt, ontmoetingen organiseert en creaties en voorstellingen maakt in verschillende vormen.

Dit wordt op zijn minst alvast een zeer boeiende ontmoeting en een waardige afsluiter voor dit 5-daagse festival van avontuurlijke muziek.

Mauro Pawlowski is the singer & guitarist of Polish/Italian origin who we all know from Evil Superstars (Humo's Rockrally 1994 winner), Kiss My Jazz, dEUS, Gruppo di Pawlowski, Hitsville Drunks and as a solo artist or one of his other (rough estimate: about 50) projects. He makes no distinction between the obscure and the popular and is a well sought-after and musician who cooperates in numerous side projects and pops up in guest appearances with befriended musicians.

The Italian jazz drummer Giovanni Barcella has been living in Belgium for quite some time and there is an often seen player on the Ghent scene. In Belgium he moves within various domains of musical expression, from mainstream to impro, and he regularly plays with musicians such as Bart Maris, Jeroen van Herzele, Filip Wouters, Charles Gayle, Erik Vermeulen, ... He is part of the artist collective Lucinda Ra, a multidisciplinary collective that constructively raises critical social questions, organizes encounters and makes creations and performances in various forms.

This will be undoubtedly a very interesting encounter and a worthy finale for these 5 days of adventorous music.
